Lavender is well known for its soothing and calming effect. A clinical trial identified it as the most popular essential oil during childbirth and it was found to reduce maternal anxiety, for pain relief and to lighten the mood.
Frankincense is the most valuable essential oil for slowing and deepening the breath, helping to allay fear, anxiety, nervous tension and stress.
Rose Absolute is a tonic of the heart and the uterus. It is tender, uplifting and soothing, alleviating fears and opening the heart to love.
Jasmine Absolute is one of the most useful oils for childbirth. Used in a massage oil on the abdomen and lower back in the early stages of labour it will relieve the pain and strengthen the contractions. It helps with expulsion of the placenta after delivery and aids post-natal recovery. Psychologically, Jasmine inspires euphoria and helps to restore confidence and optimism.
Neroli is regarded as one of the most effective sedative and antidepressant remedies. Overall, it is calming, soothing and uplifting.
Roman Chamomile is calming, balancing and deeply relaxing, and has a gentle restorative effect.
